Find Product On Store
There are several methods available with the default store installation to locate items on the website (online store).
Below are the most common methods for finding items in the store:

The keyword search can be placed on any page of the store and gives the customer a quick and easy way to locate specific items based on keyword(s). |

Item that are marked to ‘Show On Home Page’ are displayed randomly on the website root home page (/default.php) and can be clicked on for direct access to the specific item’s information on the product details page. |

Featured Items Display : If items are checked as featured items in the product manager, they will appear in the featured item section on /store/default.php and can be clicked on for direct access to the specific item’s information on the product details page. |

Special (Sale) Items Display : If items are checked as “Special” in the product manager, they will appear in the specials section on /store/default.php and can be clicked on for direct access to the specific item’s information on the product details page. |

The left menu links that are automatically-generated and located on the /store/default.php and /store/store_results.php pages will filter the search results to display specific items. |

The product search form located at /store/search.php can be submitted with specific criteria to filter and display a list of matching items on the /store/store_results.php page. |

Direct URL Link |
Customers can link directly to the item with auto-generated direct URL links inside tell-a-friend emails, order confirmation emails and shipping confirmation emails. |
